It’s always inspiring to hear stories of people overcoming their medical conditions or disabilities to achieve their ambitions and life goals.

In this stressful life, giving up may seem to be the easiest option. But remember, there are a lot of people who are less fortunate and still persevere.

Kanhaiya M is a good example of those who persevere no matter what.

Kanhaiya suffers from muscular dystrophy, a genetic disease that results in progressive weakening and loss of control in muscles. But this did not stop him from attending school and going to college.

He even took the II PU exams this year and scored 72%.

His journey in preparing for his exams wasn’t easy, particularly in the past few months.

His condition worsened, leaving him completely immobile and his vocals were severely impacted.

Normally, he would attend one class a day as he can’t be in his wheelchair for too long. But recently, it became tough for him to go to college.

Because of this, his mom Sri Lakshmi became worried and thought it wasn’t the right time for him to take the exam.

His mom opened up about Kanhaiya’s struggle when studying.

He has to lie down when studying. He can only read books positioned on a glass table above him.

He can’t sit up when he studies and can only read books positioned on a glass table. His mom has to help him to turn the pages.

“Once he was done with a page, he would call me to turn it,” she told The Times of India.

Regardless of everything Kanhaiya’s been through, he still persevered and took the exam. Even in the exam hall itself, it wasn’t easy for him.

“Even in the exam hall, he was on a bed and dictated answers to the scribe. Given that he was losing strength, he couldn’t attempt questions for all 100 marks in every subject,” Kanhaiya’s mom continued.

Because of his condition, Kanhaiya could have easily asked for an exemption from writing language papers, but instead he completed the exam with flying colours.

He will even be undertaking a BCom course soon.

His college principal, Ramesh K, said the college was proud of his achievement.

Kanhaiya is definitely an inspiration to all the students undergoing exam stress and thinking of giving up. If he can do it, so can you. You just need to believe in yourself.

We are truly inspired by Kanhaiya’s dedication and perseverance. We wish him all the best.
