Memes have lately made their way into our lives at some point or another. With the advent of social media, memes have become a very important part of our lives, and for almost every hilarious or awkward situation in life, there seems to be a fitting meme. Perfectly suited, perfectly relatable; memes can be a cherry on the “cake situations” of life.
Among all memes, there lie some which have gained notoriety among social media enthusiasts all over the world. There is no explanation for why these dankest memes of all time have gained immense popularity, yet when you see them, they are instantly recognizable and easy to relate to.
Here are 4 of the dankest memes that have made their way into our everyday lives:
- Awkward moment seal: One of the most adorable animals on this earth has turned out to be one of the dankest memes ever. Who would’ve known that an open-eyed seal would be the perfect summary of any awkward situation? We’re sure there is a high chance you’ve come across this meme more than once before. For those of you who have ever felt like simultaneously cringing and exploding on the inside, this meme is perfect for you.
- Doge: Now, you may not know the name of this meme but once you see it, you will feel at peace. Not because the meme is peaceful but because you may see yourself in this famous Shiba Inu-inspired meme. (The Shiba Inu is a Japanese breed of hunting dogs). Named the Tab’s ‘Meme of the Decade,’ it is most often used to convey the moment when you have a perfect “useless” reaction to something you may or may not like but you still have to be positive about due to the people around you (whom you find irritating or idiotic). Dogs are a human’s best friend, meaning it is only natural that we connect to this meme so well.

A pleasant surprise for all Drake fans out there we’re sure. The meme in question answers all of life’s petty dilemmas in the most objective yes/no manner possible. Perhaps Drake helping us share our thoughts with the world through this meme was part of “God’s Plan” after all.
Credit: Memedroid - Philosoraptor: Next up is a being that walked the face of the earth before humans existed. A dinosaur, specifically a velociraptor. Remember the scene from Jurassic Park, when the “little ones” ate an entire cow in a couple of minutes? Who would have thought they would end up being one of the dankest memes of all time. A velociraptor with one of its claws about to touch its chin, almost resembling “The Thinker” by Auguste Rodin, is the perfect manifestation of any one of us thinking hard about something.
