Being famous isn’t always easy—it requires a lot of hard work, passion and talent. Many may say celebrities get famous because of their good looks and connections.
Well, people often forget the struggle, hardship and tears faced by singers and movie stars.
Nowadays, the public tend to criticize celebrities for little things they do, and they expect them to behave in a certain way.
Don’t, forget, they are only humans. They share the same emotions and feelings as us.
One thing we could agree celebrities have that we don’t, is their voice and influence. The things they say and do can create a lot of awareness and joy in people’s lives.
Louis Tomlinson, is a perfect recent example of someone who possesses that power. He helped an 83-year old man, Richard, who lost his wife recently, tick off his bucket list.

The former One Direction singer released a single titled “Two of Us” and the Lyric Video was published on YouTube on 7 March 2019.
The touching and empowering music video, starring Louis Tomlinson and Richard, was eventually published on YouTube a few days ago, on 24 April 2019.
The music video is titled “Two of Us (Richard’s Bucket List Official Video)”. In the 7 minute and 12 second clip, Richard briefly describes his life and how he met his wife, Pat, who passed away in December 2016 due to Alzheimer’s.
They were married for 60 years.

Even though Pat is no longer here, Richard can still connect with her. “I talk to her on a regular basis, even though she ain’t here,” Richard says in the music video.
When the pop star heard about Richard’s bucket list, he visited Richard to help him fulfil his list.
He posted on his Instagram, “He had a few things he wanted to do, so I thought I’d help him out.”

Making the music video is certainly very meaningful and relatable to Louis, as his mom, Johannah Deakin, passed away at a similar time from Leukaemia. He also lost his sister, Felicite Tomlinson, last month.
“This video feels particularly relevant and powerful to me. Richard is a classic example of a fearless man who in light of tragedy still pushes himself to live with as much laughter and happiness as possible,” Louis wrote on social media.
In the video, they both sit down comfortably on a sofa, and open up to each other about losing their loved ones, while talking about Richard’s bucket list.
In the music video, Louis Tomlinson helps Richard tick off a few things from his bucket list.
- Flying a helicopter ✓
- Driving a race car ✓
- Getting a tattoo (Richard gave Louis a tattoo – and it still counts) ✓
- Got on a rollercoaster ✓
The last one was particularly impressive, even to Louis. He told Richard, “You’re such a legend for going on rides, so brave, so brave.”
Finally, one last thing from the bucket list:
- Performing to an arena ✓.

Richard’s opera singing skills were amazing and the whole crowd cheered hard. He definitely “smashed it”, what a natural!
Louis Tomlinson’s music video is inspiring and relatable to everyone who has lost their loved ones.
Don’t give up living, live for them! Tell yourself, “I will hold you where my heart is, one life for the two of us.”
